Pizza is a dish that is not typical Western anymore: it is eaten all over the world. And of course our restaurant serves pizza too: Italian flavored, but also Thai pizza. On this page you will find the recipe for making the crust.
VEGAN EASY PIZZA CRUST
Prep : 20 minutes - Cook: 25-30 minutes - Ready in: 1 hour Makes: 2 pizza crusts
INGREDIENTS
4 tablespoons yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup warm water
2 1/2 cup flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
Optional:
a pinch of chili powder for the Thai pizza crust
1/2 teaspoon oregano for a Italian flavored pizza crust
EQUIPMENT
2 bowls
Pizza pan
Whisk
Measuring cups
Rolling pin
PREPARATION
This recipe is for the crust only. If you want to bake the pizza right away, choose toppings to your liking, or choose one of our Thai pizza recipes for inspiration.
Preheat the oven to 180° Celsius.
METHOD
In a bowl: mix the sugar, yeast and warm water.
Whisk together and let stand apart for 10 minutes
Second bowl: mix the flour, the oil and salt.
Add the chili or oregano if you want to flavor your pizza crust.
After 10 minutes add the yeast mix to the dry ingredients.
Mix well and kneed until you have a nice dough.
Let it stand for 5 minutes
After 5 minutes: divide the dough in 2 parts
Flatten the dough with a rolling pin to fit on your pizza pan
This recipe is for the crust only. If you want to bake the pizza right away, Choose your toppings to your liking. And bake the pizza for 30 minutes
