Vegan Banana Smoothie


The Food Forest of the Thai Child Development has quite a number of banana trees. And banana trees are used in many ways in our restaurant: the leaves as table decoration and as packaging for take away lunches, the stem for curry, the flower for a salad, the young green bananas as a vegetable and of course the ripe bananas as fruit or as ingredient for this delicious vegan banana smoothie.


 

VEGAN BANANA SMOOTHIE

Prep time: 5 minutes Total time: 15 minutes Serves: 1 glass


INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup coconut milk

  • 1 small frozen banana

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 2 ice cubes crushed

  • 2 tablespoons water, as needed

EQUIPMENT

  • Blender

  • Glasses

PREPARATION

METHOD

  • Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

  • Pour into glasses and garnish with mint or a slice of banana

  • Serve
