Sawasdee kah!

Welcome to the food forest and foraging blogs of Eco-Logic Thailand and the Food Forest Kitchen Restaurant.

On this website you will find plants, herbs, fruits and vegetables that can be found in and around Paksong Thailand area and in our Food Forest on location.

Many of the finds from foraging are used to make great meals at  'the Food Forest Kitchen' restaurant and we love to share the recipes with you too. Links to recipes can be found on the pages.

Find the plant of your choice using the menu below or check all posts. If you prefer to search on a picture of the tree, fruit or flower, you can choose the gallery.

If you see this green leaf on the page of the plants, it means that the plant, or part of it, is edible.

And of course we have a number of recipes for the results of your foraging tour. Click on the Food Forest Kitchen logo on the blogpages to find  recipes.

NOTICE:

When you go foraging, please be aware that many plants look the same, some can be toxic or cause death. Or can cause an allergic reaction. If you feel any unpleasant sensation while tasting a plant (such as burning, itchy, too bitter), spit it out right away and wash carefully your mouth. Don’t hesitate to consult a doctor. Never go foraging in unknow areas without an expert guide.
